Slowing down

The first three shows are over. Great fun but a little hectic. Time to slow down a bit. We're in Moab, UT for a couple of days now. Incredible scenery and we're all excited about the parks here - but it's also nice to be able to walk around town. We did laundry tonight and Suzy bathed the dogs. The past few days have been action packed. A little high desert R&R sounds nice.

New Mexico

Finally have a few minutes to write a line or two.

Made the long drive just fine. We're in New Mexico now and will be for a couple of days. Not that I mind driving too much. There's something I like about the long stretch through western Oklahoma, the Texas panhandle and eastern New Mexico. The space I guess. The sense of
place. You can tell where you are from where you've been from where you're going. But the mountains are wonderful. It's great to get up in the morning and see something like Sandia Peak right outside your window.

First show tonight, should be some fun times to relate tomorrow.
